Nail Art - II

I am still continuing with my love for nail art and painted it again this weekend.
After the design last week, I tried a new one this week.

I so love this art. Want to get some nice thin brushes to design more detailed patters.

Nail Art

Sometime ago during NaBloPoMo i came across a post from Neha about her nail art hobby. And it immediately brought back memories from my college and early work days. I was totally in love with this art and would design a new pattern every week. I loved it. It brought back such beautiful memories. I remembered how i have also won the best nail design contest at that time :)

So after reading hers, i felt the urge to do it again. And yes, i gave it a try during my vacation last week. I have started it with absolutely simple design. I changed it to new design this time - again a simple one. But am happy with it. I look at my nails so many times and feel happy about it. (Small things like this matter so much in life and make your day with smiles non-stop - that's my renewed realisation) How taking out few minutes can bring about so much satisfaction in life !!

So here is my attempt from this week. I don't have the picture of first attempt from last week... :|

I know this is a simple design but I like it and I like the fact that so many people noticed it and also appreciated it ( Atleast i am believing those beautiful words of praise were genuine)

New and cheerful (Day 23)

It's been quite sometime that I had that template for my blog. Now that i have been blogging for last one month i felt like changing it to bring some cheer and life to the blog.

I always end up using shades of pink ( no prize for guessing pink is my favorite)

What with kid being ill, no blogging for very long, too much self-pondering - this blog definately needed some change.

And to add to this cheer, i showcase here some pictures from the beautiful tulip garden from Netherlands.

How much flowers can cheer someone is evident by the smile which gets pasted on our lips when we see them. All the colors make our life so much more lively. Ever since I have moved to Nethetlands, i have not missed a single year to go and visit this beautiful garden. I look forward to the month of march every year when this park (Keukenhof) opens for 3 months.

When i came to NL, the greenery and the rows and rows of colorful flowers were first things that I noticed and they still do not fail to cheer me up everytime i think about them - even in those dark, gray winters.

Wish life remains full of colors and joy !!

The building shown above is designed by Italian architect David Fisher, this building has floors that rotate independently. The building will constantly be changing shape.

You gotto see these...truly unbelievable.
I wonder how far can human imagination go and then make it possible too.
It's great.

Ok, my new design is here now...i did soooo many changes, worked on it for loooooooong- changing whatever possible I could in the standard design from blogger and using my HTML skills *wink*. I used over 100 permutations and combinations of colors and images, fonts and sizes, backgrounds and headers - and finally came up with this one :) Hope you like it and feel like coming back :)

So far I plan to stick to it for few weeks to come (Please note - No promise for that. You never know when something new/some new idea pops up)

Mood Designs

Please bear with me as I am in the process of finalising a nice design for my blog. So for few days or rather till i am satisfied with one; you might see new design every other day. More annoying part is that I am not getting that Upgrade button under Customization tab..so i just have to fiddle around with standard templates which i am not liking at all.
